Problem Note 45240: Segmentation Violation in PROC FCMP using the TRIM and COMPRESS functions on the AIX operating system

An illegal instruction and segmentation violation will occur when using the TRIM and COMPRESS function inside PROC FCMP on the AIX operating system on SAS 9.2 TS2M3. A workaround is to not use the COMPRESS function in combination with the TRIM function inside PROC FCMP on SAS 9.2 TS2M3. The problem has been corrected in SAS 9.3 TS1M0.
